Abstract

Due to the high dominance of certain tree species in the community, we assume that standards of environmental characteristics and distribution of species are not evident within the community. The objective of this study was to verify the existence of environmental standards of less common tree species in semideciduous forest in the Private Natural Heritage Reserve Vagafogo, Pirenópolis - Goiás. The phytosociological information of species per plot was compared with environmental information, such as slope, shadow, Melinis, Paspalum and features of the inventory as DAP and height. For comparison were conducted several analyzes of Canonical Correspondence (CCA) at the level of statistical significance of 95% among defined groups of species according to the low frequency of species, and groups: All species (A); The species that occur only in five installments (B); Species that occur only in a portion (C); Species with less than ten individuals in the area (D); Species occurring only one individual per share (E) and species with only one individual (F). To verify statistical significance of the CCA were performed Monte Carlo test for statistical significance level of 95%. tree species of seasonal semideciduous forest often in smaller portions than 30%, or full rate to 12.90% are relevant to verify relationships between patterns of species and environmental characteristics. less common tree species of lowland forest also have strong relationships with environmental features such as terrain slope, shading and presence of grasses.
