Resumo
This article addresses board games as a language for teaching Geography, aimed at everyday school life in order to improve students' perspective on the concept of place-territory through the geographic panorama. Each board game is a creative, imaginative and playful challenge, which can identify and improve geographic perception through strategies, power relations, scenario imagination and immersion. Bringing the opportunity to discover places, work on imagination and represent different perceptions of the world, becoming a facilitating language for classes if applied with the intention of understanding geographic space. This work seeks to understand, through praxis, bibliographic analysis and qualitative research, how the teaching-learning process supported by board games as a language can become fundamental to improving communication between teacher and students, strengthening the understanding of what it is geographical in their daily lives.
