Segredos do cerrado: guia de design de personagens do folclore goiano

Abstract

The article presented here investigated how graphic projects can strengthen the social role of graphic design by valuing regional culture. Through exploratory and bibliographical research, folk legends belonging to the State of Goiás were studied and character designs were created for an illustrated guide. The proposal is that the illustrated guide will help keep local culture alive, that it will be used as research material for people interested in the subject and that it will contribute to filling the lack of visual projects that deal with the representation of Goiás folklore.
