Abstract

The following essay is the theoretical-practical documentation of the artistic process developed throughout the bachelor's degree course in visual arts, with its central theme being the perception and analysis of the pictorial domestic environment and the use of colors in the execution of works resulting from the process of comprehension within the topic. Highlighting the significance of the aesthetic experience of everyday life, with the study based on John Dewey and Gaston Bachelard, the following research reports on an academic journey and how inquiries from outside and prior to graduation affected the artistic process described here and its consequent results.
