Resumo
Efficient electricity management in public institutions is essential for cost reduction and promoting sustainability. This work presents the development of a data visualization and analysis dashboard for electricity consumption at the Faculty of Science and Technology (FCT)of the Federal University of Goiás (UFG), using Microsoft Power BI. The study began with the installation of electrical parameter meters and followed a structured methodology of data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL). A comparative analysis was performed between the obtained measurements and the invoices issued by the utility company, in addition to checking quality indicators and load profiles. The results allowed for the identification of consumption patterns associated with academic routines and validated the effectiveness of air conditioning shutdown policies. A predominantly capacitive power factor behavior was diagnosed, indicating the need for adjustments in the capacitor bank, and reading inconsistencies were detected during power interruption periods. The developed tool proved to be effective for continuous monitoring, supporting decision-making and modernizing the energy
management of the unit.
