A Dissolução do Ser: do audiovisual às máscaras instalativas

Abstract

The Dissolution of Being is a work that embodies post-digital practices by integrating digital technologies with artisanal processes, dissolving the boundaries between the physical and the digital, and adopting a critical and DIY approach toward technology. The artwork exists in two versions: a live audiovisual performance and a multimedia installation. In this article, we review the concept of the post-digital by drawing from authors who discuss this theme directly or indirectly. Additionally, we present the creative processes behind the artistic project, which is ultimately discussed in light of the post-digital debates.
