Item Cultura popular: práticas e representações(2014-12) Corrêa Júnior, Sebastião RiosThis essay discuss the meaning of some Bule-Bule’s chants. Bule-Bule is an improvisator Poet from Reconcavo baiano who belongs also to the Samba de Roda tradition. Written under the perspective of the cultural performances, this essay elucidates some possible relations between traditional popular culture practice and its representation in academic works by folklorists, sociologists and anthropologists.Item Na frente do espelho: a construção de imagens na tropicália(2008) Bruzadelli, Victor Creti; Corrêa Júnior, Sebastião RiosInto this article we’re proposing to discuss the tropicalism, starting from the images produced by this movement on the media, in three ways: the television, discs covers and songs. For this argument were chosen live presentations on TV shows where the music were the focus (O Cassino do Chacrinha and some festivals, as well as the Divino, Maravilhoso – produced by the members of the movimento tropicalista), the front cover of the album Tropicália ou Panis et Circensis from 1986 and the song Lindonéia.Item Performances negras, pós-graduação e isolamento social: caminhos possíveis(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2023-06-20) Dias, Luciene de Oliveira; Silva, Renata de Lima; Corrêa Júnior, Sebastião RiosAfter a successful experience of exchanges established in the classroom to share teachings about black performances, a group of teachers is faced with the challenge of offering the curricular component in the remote modality, due to the Covid-19 pandemic. This article systematizes this experience in a narrative that aims to highlight the strength of black performances, despite technical limitations and the small number of people enrolled. In addition to offering subsidies for the presence of other knowledge in the classroom. The results achieved indicate that experimentation and care are also part of the postgraduate teaching-learning process and that representativeness, included of the Masters of knowledge, is essential to echo anti-racism and democracy.Item O São Francisco partiu minha vida em duas partes: a viagem de Riobaldo alma adentro/sertão afora(2008-12) Corrêa Júnior, Sebastião Rios; Santos, CarolinaIn João Guimarães Rosa’s Roman Grande sertão: veredas, the River São Francisco has a magical meaning. It divides the world in the right blessed bank and the link one of those who have a pact with the Devil. In this geographical and simbolical space, the character Riobaldo crosses the hinterland seeking the knowledge of himself and the liberation of his soul. In his cross, he becomes aware of the power of his name: the one who has the energy of the river - symbol of the incessant changing on life -, who is able to determine his own Way.
