Item Liga de hipertensão arterial integrando serviço, ensino e pesquisa(1993) Jardim, Paulo César Brandão Veiga; Sousa, Ana Luiza LimaItem Classificação internacional das atividades de enfermagem: uma amostra da realidade brasileira(1993-12) Yoshioca, Magda Rojas; Barbosa, Maria Alves; Narchi, Nadia Zanon; Cruz, Isabel Cristina Fonseca da; Bezerra, Ana Lucia Queiroz; Imanichi, Rose MeireThe study was compounded by bibliography collecting with the objective of identifying terms referred to nursing activities: to diagnose, prescribe and evaluate. The data collecting was done by making use of Brazilian nursing journals, dissertations and the theses from nursing school's heap of Brazilian library belonging to Universidade de Sao Paulo. Catalogues and nursing researches from the Research and Study Center from Brazilian Nursing Association were used , for the period of time between 1 988 and 1 992. From 1 1 9 issues which were found it was shown that 53,5% referred to a nursing prescription term, 39,0% was related to nursing diagnostic and 7,5% to assistance evaluation. Each of these terms got different denominations which show the patterned language necessity.Item A enfermagem e o paciente hipertenso em uma abordagem multiprofissional – relato de experiência(1994-01) Souza, Ana Luiza Lima; Jardim, Paulo César Brandão VeigaThe Arterial Hypertension League (LHA), has enable the team to carry out a multiprofessional approach by highly prizing the actions of the medical team, comprised of: doctors, nurses, nutritionists, physical education teachers and psychologists. In this working structure, nursing represents an important supporting pillar, as it participates in 50% of the actions. The nurse’s work consist of attending the patients in preconsultation, consultation and pos-consultation procedures; talking part in the team meetings with the patients (The Hypertension Club); drawing up and carrying out research projects and coordinating the team’s efforts. The participation of the nursing staff in the work done by the health team has a afforded a greater efficiency to the work, and at same time, it is a great training field for students.Item Clientela com alterações cardíacas: perfil diagnóstico elaborado por alunos de enfermagem(1995-07) Bachion, Maria Márcia; Robazzi, Maria Lúcia do Carmo Cruz; Carvalho, Emília Campos de; Veiga, Eugênia VelludoThe present study aimed at searching patterns of human responses and diagnoses categories identified by 16 undergraduate nursing students in 22 patients with cardiac alterations admitted in a School Hospital. 77 Nursing Diagnoses (ND) were found, 72,7% in the pattern of EXCHANGING, 7,7% in the pattern of MOVING, 6,4% in the pattern of FEELING and 2,5% in the pattern of RELATING. The predominant diagnoses categories were: knowledge deficit (9%), decreased cardiac output (7,7%), fluid volume excess (6,4%), altered nutrition less than body requirements (6,4%) and high risk for infection (5,1%).Item A influência dos paradigmas cartesiano e emergente na abordagem do processo saúde-doença(1995-08) Barbosa, Maria AlvesItem Comunicação prejudicada: fatores relacionados e características definidoras em pacientes internados com queimaduras(1996-04) Meneguello, Adriana Silva; Dalri, Maria Célia Barcellos; Carvalho, Emília Campos de; Bachion, Maria MárciaThe present work studies questions related to burned patients and their influences in the communication process. It aims at contributing to the nursing concern about the creation of tools to identify communication problems, to formulate nursing diagnoses involving these changes as well as to elaborate alternative proposals in the care of patients with impaired communication. The results found by DALRI (1993) - showed 3 patients with the diagnosis of impaired communication. The authors, utilizing the Taxonomy I of the North American Nursing Diagnosis Association (NANDA) 1990, analyzed the data using the proposal of CARVALHO & COLER (1994). They found 14 patients with this alteration (Impaired Communication), confirming the hypothesis that the second proposal for the diagnoses of Impaired Communication is more comprehensive. Frequent related factors were: physical conditions - anatomical alterations (visual and phono system); stress and altered perception. Common defining characteristics were: expressions of anxiety/depression; partial and total visual deficit and dyspneia.Item Aplicação da janela de Johari em uma interação(1996-04) Oliveira, Elizabete Regina Araújo; Bachion, Maria Márcia; Carvalho, Emília Campos deThe present study proposes to verify the viability of Johari's window in a two-people meeting. Methodologically the study comprised the following stages: comprehension of the theoretical model of Johari’s window establishment of criteria for the accomplishment of an interview following the reference; accomplishment of an interview with a client that do not know the reference; analysis and interpretation of the results through Johari’s window. The results allowed the authors to analyze the interviewer and interviewee behavior during the interview. They also verified the amount that it is unknown about the other, through what he/she allows to he revealed and analyzed the way that a person uses to reveal his/her own personality. The window makes it easier to visualize the manner that people reveal themselves.Item Percepção de bloqueio/facilitação de comunicação: um experimento(1996-04) Bemardina, Lucianne Dalla; Bachion, Maria Márcia; Carvalho, Emília Campos de; Souza, Luís deBased on the reference work of FORREST (1983), we conducted an experiment in order to determine how interviewees (6th semester nursing undergraduate course) perceive a dialogue, taking into consideration 12 items of evaluation (opening, interest, changing subject, directed questions, disapproval of the subject, tranquility, tension, counseling, recognizing feelings, reflection about the topics, approval, and flight from the topics). Treatment consisted of interviews with different proportions of categories of facilitating (F) and blocking (B) communication: Group A - 55% F category and 45% B category; Group B - 75% B category and 25% F category, There was no statistical difference between groups in terms of any of the proposed evaluation items. We emphasize the fact that the interviewer was known by interviewees. The population is composed of self-care non-skilled patients. The semi-structured interview and direct observation have been used for data collecting. Through reports, we have been able to verify that patients perception on bath in bed were diversified, considered disagreeable and constraining by some and indispensable by others. The aspects on the water quality, soap, nurses slowness and more humanised relationship have also been described.Item Atendimento multiprofissional ao paciente hipertenso(1996-09) Jardim, Paulo César Brandão Veiga; Sousa, Ana Luiza Lima; Monego, Estelamaris TroncoOne of the most important difficulties in treatment of hypertension is the compliance to treatment. The approach of hypertensive patients by differents professionals improve the compliance to treatment. A good estrategie to achieve this goal is to organize multiprofessional team. All kind of health professional can participate of the team (phisicians, nurses, nutritionists, members of social service, psychologists, physical trainers, administrative staff) but not all are necessary to begin the team. The most important thing is the uniformity of comportament and of information to the patients. P.; Medeiros, Renata NascimentoThe use of video has been described in the literature as favourable to changes in behaviours during communication. This study aimed at verifying the effect of a training programme in the use of categories of confirmation and discordance during the interaction (oral communication) between students and patients. The results evidenced the predominance of confirmation categories in interactions: there were no significant changes in the interaction profile before and after training. Authors concluded that the teaching of communication abilities has to be done during the undergraduate course and not only in one course or period.Item A comunicação profissional de saúde x cliente diante das novas tecnologias(1998-03) Lopes, Carmen Luci Rodrigues; Barbosa, Maria Alves; Teixeira, Maria Eunice Medeiros; Coelho, Renata BenevidesEstudo descritivo exploratório com abordagem quanti-qualitativa realizado em unidades das redes pública e privada localizadas em Goiânia-Go., nos meses de agosto e setembro de 1997 com objetivos de averiguar o entendimento dos clientes a respeito da comunicação dos profissionais que executam os exames de alta tecnologia e detectar junto ao cliente a existência de orientação sobre o exame a ser realizado e o que sentem durante a realização destes. A população constitui-se de clientes de ambos os sexos que se submeteram a exames diagnósticos de alta tecnologia. Os dados foram coletados pelas pesquisadoras e auxiliares de pesquisa, mediante entrevista semi-estruturada entre os clientes sujeitos do estudo. Através dos resultados, concluímos que a maioria dos clientes não recebem orientação, deixaram de pedir informações sobre o exame realizado por vários motivos, inclusive receio do desconhecido. A comunicação foi restrita. Medo da dor, do resultado, desconforto foram também relatados.Item Retrospectiva da produção científica do SIBRACEn: (1988-1994)(1998-04) Bachion, Maria Marcia; Carvalho, EmÌlia Campos de; Stuchi, Rosamary Aparecida GarciaThe present study had the purpose of identifying characteristics of the scientific production on Nursing Communication based on a sample of papers presented at four events of the Brazilian Symposium on Nursing Communication (1988, 1990, 1992 and 1994). The majority of authors were faculty, who developed research mainly in groups, focussing as subjects the dyad (professionals and clientele), establishing as objects of their studies aspects of interaction (quality and effectiveness) as well as aspects of the production and utilization of Nursing knowledge. Interpersonal context was the most investigated, care was the area most studied and the usual environment was the hospital. Research were mainly of non-experimental type. Results evidenced aspects of communication inadequateness in areas of care (including administration), education (mainly of clientele) and research. At the same time, authors perceived the trend towards innovative solutions and improvement of knowledge on the communication process.Item Algumas reflexões, sobre categorias de comportamentos verbais orais e seu emprego pela enfermagem(1998-06) Bachion, Maria Márcia; Carvalho, Emília Campos de; Belisário, Vera Lúcia; Cardoso, Alessandra PatríciaDuring our experiences in research and teaching about communication, we verified that, concerning verbal oral behavior categorization area, the literature doesn’t has adequate clarity. It makes to be hard to use the meanings quickly This paper approachs authors that had published articles about code and categorization of verbal oral behavior and teaching of techiniques of therapeutic communication, proposing a sinthesys that is able to be used in nursing care, teching and researchs. For this propose we analyzed CLARK’s (1981), BEANLANDS & MACKAY (1981), FORREST (1983), DuGAS (1988), ATKINSON & MURRAY (1989), STEFANELLI (1993), BEIJAMIN (1994), and SILVA (1996) writtings. We considered techinique of therapeutic communication behaviors that favor the interpersonal relationships such as: declarations/ opening questions; minimum answers; techinique of reflex; perception of corporal expressions; acceptance of feelings; presence recognition; information; clarifying, survey of implied thoughts questions releated to data; answers to inadequate behaviors. These techiniques can be used in the categorization of verbal comnunications. We increased them with 15 categories, considered non therapeutics. We believe that this proposal will facilitate decoding on part of readers, favoring reflections in caring, teaching and research.Item Estresse, ansiedade e coping: uma revisão dos conceitos, medidas e estratégias de intervenção voltadas para a prática de enfermagem(1998-06) Bachion, Maria Márcia; Peres, Alessandra de Souza; Belisário, Vera Lúcia; Carvalho, Emília Campos deThis study revises the literature about: a) concepts of stress; b) instruments of measuring anxiety, stress and coping; c) nursing intervention to help the patient to cope with stress. This study considered the literature of the years 1995-96. The results defines the concepts referded above and identifies scales to detect anxiety; stress and coping: Hospital anxiety and depression, State-trait anxiety Inventory and Self-rating anxiety scale; "Scope-Stress List"; "Stress Syndrome List"; "Escala de acontecimientos vitales en poblacion española", "Inventário de estrés cotidiano" and "Parent perception Inventory"; "Scale of coping".In relation to nursing intervention were found respiratory exercises, relaxation exercises and phisycal exercises, talking about the subject , adequate nutrition.Item Extensão universitária compromisso social ou solidariedade?(1998-07) Sousa, Ana Luiza LimaItem Ensino e saúde: o que pensam e o que sabem os deficientes auditivos(Joaquim Tomé de Sousa, 1999-12) Barbosa, Maria Alves; Galvão, Venery Rodrigues; Magalhães, Maria Cristina Faria; Pires, Helga Benneth; Fonseca, Andiara Pereira Martins; Teles, Sheila Araújo; Sousa, Joaquim Tomé deField work accomplished in the Special School Elysio Campos of Goiânia year of 1997 through PROGRAD / Program of Licenciatura. It had as objectives: To identify auditory perceptions of the faulty ones in relation to the methods and resources used to teach health until then lived; To supply needs explained for the faulty ones auditory referring to contents of health through lectures and to Develop methods and resources that facilitate the process teaching-learning regarding contents of health among faulty auditory. The study was developed in 3 different phases: Diagnostical evaluation; Accomplishment of Lectures and Formative Evaluation. The population is constituted of students registered in the school, being the sample students’ part with superior age to 12 years. It was detected that the interviewees possessed prevention notions and transmission of diseases in general, but in relation to the diseases sexually transmissible, they ignored the transmission manners. It was also verified that they had little knowledge on sexuality and contraceptive methods. Comparing the diagnostical analisys’ data and of Formative analysis, it was observed that there were change of concepts and behaviors among the faulty ones. The teaching driven them requests the use of audiovisual resources in larger amount when compared to the normal students’teaching. The development of continuous works is recommended with faulty using resources and appropriate plans and the investment in the teachers’ formation for the Special Education.Item Situação vacinal das crianças do estado de Goiás(Joaquim Tomé de Sousa, 1999-12) Faria, Ruth Minamisava; Andraus, Lourdes Maria Silva; Rosso, Claci Fátima Weirich; Barbosa, Maria AlvesThe governament of Goiás settled a Support Program of Needy Families (PAFC), that assists nearly 160,000 families, which receive food monthly and other benefits. On this study we investigated the vaccination of children under 6 years old of the families registered in PAFC. The data were collected by the authors and for research assistants for this end, in the period of August to November of 1997. 1265 children's appraised cards were investigated, being 429 of the Goiânia city and 836 of other districts. 91,23% of all children were vaccinated according to the recommendations of Ministry of Health. We concluded that the offer of the food basket, conditioned to the exhibition of the child's card can have been contributing with the goals of the immunization program.
