Item Atividade física, alimentação e distanciamento social de pessoas com síndrome de Down durante a pandemia da COVID-19.(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2022-02-25) Dalla Déa, Vanessa Helena Santana; Dalla Déa, Vicente Paulo Batista; Duarte, EdisonThis research aims to analyze the social distancing, the level of physical activity and the diet of people with Down syndrome, during the COVID-19 pandemic. 24 people participated in this study by means of an electronic form with 45 closed questions. Among the results found, it was found that after an average of 69.87 days of distancing, there was a decrease in the level of physical activity and quality of food, as well as an increase in the body mass index. It was found that people with Down syndrome have characteristics that can aggravate a possible COVID-19 condition and most have contact with people who are not in distancing. It was concluded that actions are urgently needed so that people with Down syndrome are not even more exposed in this pandemic moment.Item Autopercepção da saúde de idosos participantes de um projeto de extensão de hidroginástica de uma universidade pública(Tadeu João Ribeiro Baptista, 2014-12-26) Dalla Déa, Vanessa Helena Santana; Prado, Elen Cristine Gomes; Martinez, Jéssica Felix Nicacio; Baptista, Tadeu João RibeiroThe objective of this research is to understand which is the health’s self perception of elderly peo ple that practice water gymnastics in an Extension University Program. This is a qualitative study that collected data by a focal group. Five old people participates this research told in an anterior study that health was their objective to practice water gymnastics. After stabilish cathegories to the speaches, we detected in the old people discourse an aproximation to the ampliated health’s conception and this way, being quoted: physical activity, nutrition, nature, psychological status, religion, leisure, medical treatment/medical, disease, alternative therapies, housing, education, work, family, they overcome the clinical and assistential activities.Item O efeito de um programa de atividade física de longa duração sobre a resistência aeróbia de idosos depressivos e não depressivos(Ana Márcia Silva, 2010-12) Déa, Vanessa Helena Santana Dalla; Duarte, Edison; Campos, Mário Hebling; Castro, Alessandra Paiva deElder depressive and nondepressive participants of a physical activity program. 64 elder (68,52 ±8,20 years old) participated of this work, 48 woman (22 depressive, 26 non depressive) and 16 men (4 depressive, 12 non depressive). The indirect evaluation of the aerobic capacity was performed by the “Rockpot Walking Test” four times along one year. The results showed no difference between the four evaluations, for every group. Whereas there is a natural tendency of decline in aerobic capacity in the elderly, it can be concluded that the program acted positively by keeping the scores stabilized, even in elderly depressives.Item Efeitos de um programa regular de atividade generalizada sobre os distúrbios motores de uma pessoa com doença de parkinson(Angleyce Teodoro Rodrigues, 2004-06) Texeira, Hayka Kattriny; Farias, Gerson Carneiro de; Vieira, Marcus FragaThis study aims at analyzing the effects of a six-month program of regular physical activity upon the motor disorders of an elderly Parkinson patient. The subject was an elderly, physically inactive woman, who has had Parkinson for ten years. The six-month program was developed with the help of the Centro Goiano de Neurologia e Neurocirurgia (The Goianian Center for Neurology and Neuro-surgery). A motor exam (Brito, 1998) was used to evaluate the level of rigidness, bradicinesia, the capacity to raise from a chair and walk, and posture changes. Evaluations were conducted before and after the program. After two months of regular physical activity, improvements were noticed on rigidness, bradicinesia, and balance, which brought autonomy and independence to the subject.
