Item Experiência e emancipação: reflexões sobre educação em Theodor W. Adorno(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2022-04-14) Miranda, Gabriela Gomes; Viana, Cynthia Maria Jorge; Viana, Cynthia Maria Jorge; Souza, André Barcellos Carlos deThe presente survey discuss Adorno’s views about education, experience and emancipation. It is an bibliographic review study of qualitatite research that focused on theoretical sources as articles, book’s chapters and other relevant sources that refers to this subject. The main author that substantiate this work is Adorno (2006) but also other authors just as Maar (2003; 2006) and Crochik (2021). Aiming to arrange the discussion this study is divided in two chapters. The first one intend to comprehend notions about cultural formation, experience and education based on Adorno’s thought. On chapter two terms as school and emancipation – based on Adorno (2006) – are discussed more specifically, as well as their interrelation with the notions expounded on chapter one. It is relevant to mention that the capacity to experience resemble the subject to the possibility of emancipation. This capacity is related to the subject’s connection to the material reality of their own existence. Conversely, this experience is interposed through formation that sets up itself as copy – semiformation – in a context of mass culture that consequently (de)form the subjects, and this ones ends up promoting the maintenance of the ruling power. In regard to this, it is crucial that exists an education that engages in non perpetuate the barbarism, in order to strengthen possibilites of autonomy, critical consciousness and emancipation – articulated to the capacity to experience.
