Resumo

This project addresses as its theme the profession of public relations in the Goiás market, in order to bring recognition of the profession among different audiences involved, thus generate brand strengthening in Goiás. For a better understanding of the need of the project, this document brings the knowledge of main points of the context American history, in Brazil, until its arrival in the State of Goiás, and also, theories that prove the importance of a strengthened brand. The actions performed are based on two surveys, the first seeks to map the public relations labor market in Goiás and the second seeks to identify the level of knowledge and perception of business managers in Goiás regarding the area of communication and public relations. After data diagnosis, Five actions were implemented to reach the largest number of high school students, business managers, trained public relations, Goiás population B, C, D and E, as well as Public Relations students. Upon completion of the actions, we had positive feedback from people who participated in the actions, and data that gave us the It is clear that strengthening has been effective, as will be evaluations and results, but much needs to be done by practitioners.
