Resumo

The research is dedicated to the dance investigation, from the experience with orisha’s mythology, originated in Ketu nation of Candomblé. The objective of this research consists on exploring the intersections between life, culture and art, including my experience as a abiã (not initiated in Candomblé) in a candomblé house - “terreiros” - and as an artist, acting through the peculiarities/details found in the creation process involved in dance, when looking after a poetic-experimental production as a dance video  work. We emphasize the experiences involved  in dances and Exu and Yemanjá orisha’s myths, as a way of knowledge and repertory of gestures from the african diaspora, realizing orisha’s mythology as an african-centered reference as well as a potential artistic creation process in a decolonial perspective. The type of the research is qualitative, as it provides a bibliography compilation. It also uses a field research approach, that took place in casa de santo Ilè Fará Imorá Odé, located in Goiânia, Goiás. The result of this study is a poetic work represented  in a dance video.
