Resumo

This project demonstrates the process of research, creation, development, testing, graphic production and prototyping of a board game whose main objective is to entertain and provide learning in biological sciences, health and infectology.Using three different methodological processes, suggested by Bruno Munari (2002), Schuytema (2010) and Carretta (2018), combined and adapted, the project development stages were designed to meet the specific needs of this specific project, so that the final product was as complete and functional as possible. These steps basically constitute the specification of the problem, the collection and analysis of data and theoretical reference - which, in the case of the project, involve the analysis of mechanics and design of other board games, education concepts and collection of information in the area of biological sciences - and in the creative process of the production of the game itself, where the concepts of production and graphic design were established. Once ready, the first versions underwent playtests, which were fundamental to refine the mechanics and balance of the game, based on the analysis of matches with volunteers and their comments, using functional prototypes. At the end, a descriptive memorial was made, as documentation. In this, the final product was broken down, in all its elements, as well as in the game flow and the instruction manual.
