Resumo
This work aims to discuss the importance of children’s games in the early years of
middle school. The interest in the topic emerged from the experience of the last four years of
non-mandatory internship, in which I could observe that children’s games and plays are more
present in children’s education rather than in the first few years of middle school. To the kids in
the early years, the moments in which they experience children’s games during the day-to-day
school life are few, since the curricular activities receive more space, downgrading the playtime
to a second priority. The games are as important as recreational activities as they are as
systematical activities, for the intellectual, emotional, and psychomotor development of the
pupil. During the teacher’s qualification, it’s studied the importance of the ludic for the child’s
development. In this regard, with the goal of going further on the theme, this piece of work
does a qualitative approach, making use of the bibliographic research with the analysis of eight
scientific works, being four articles, three dissertations, and a thesis. The analysis had as
categories: the lucidity in the qualifying of the teacher and the ludic pedagogical practice.
