Resumo
Research conducted in order to examine how the scientific-technical reading is established in the acquisition of knowledge, understanding and their relations with the teaching-learning process. Thus, we intend to discuss how joint occurred reading the transformers and social factors linked to it; report as derived accession to read by readers, the best teaching that enable understanding of the scientific-technical reading by students and thus understand how it developed. For this, a theoretical foundation is drawn on the subject read his actions; role of the university, sources of information and didactic teaching and learning. Expected to contribute to the understanding of the technical-scientific reading as transformative practice in academia and professional training.
