Resumo
Evaluates the site of Environment and water resources Secretary of Goiás State (Secretaria de Meio Ambiente e Recursos Hídricos do Estado de Goiás - SEMARH/Goiás) and proposes a politics of Information management for the site researched. Shows literature review in areas of information and decision making, environmental information, information management and information in the Internet age. Appreciates the site through the evaluation criteria of information sources on the Internet and detects problems such as lack of updating of data, lack of review of links, no search function, and lack accessibility features. From the models of Information Management proposes a politics of updating and maintaining the site in six interdependent steps: Identification of users and their information needs, Information acquisition, Organization and Storage of information, Product Creation and Information Services, Information Distribution, and Use of Information. Recommends the presence of specialists in information science and proposes the creation of a Corporate Portal to meet the needs of the organization.
