Ensino de Química em espaço não formal: a discussão do conceito de tabela periódica no grupo escoteiro Velho Lobo Goiânia-Go

Resumo

This study aimed to observe that the understanding of the concepts related to the Periodic Table of Chemical Elements for children and youth (7-14 years) participants of the Scout Movement, and show the relationship between aspects of Scouting and characteristics of non-formal education. For this we use benchmarks on footwear games in Piaget's theory (Piaget, 1978). The research of this study was qualitative and to characterize it, we use the case study. The target audience were Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts of the Old Scout Group Wolf Goiânia, Goiás. To collect the data we used a game in order to present the Periodic Table and also observe characteristics and aspects related to Piaget game ratings. This study has shown the importance of working themselves content of formal education in non-formal environments, approaching these specific concepts of individuals and seeking a familiarity with chemistry.
