| dc.description.abstract | The objective of this work was to analyze the transformations in the urban environment due to the influence of a Bus Rapid Transit Corridor (BRT) in the city of Goiânia. The methodology involved digital processing of remote sensing images in Geographic Information System (GIS) environments. The algorithm used for the supervised classification of images was the Maximum Likelihood (MAXVER). For this purpose, high spatial resolution orbital images obtained via the Google Earth Pro® platform were used, at different acquisition dates, and which enabled the spatiotemporal analysis. The results revealed that the urban landscape of the studied stretches underwent notable changes with the implementation of the BRT works, which began in 2013. From the classified images, it appears that the main changes were the intensification of areas covered by commercial surfaces, increase in areas pavements, and revitalization of tree vegetation and removal of grassy vegetation along the central flowerbeds of the BRT corridor. | |
| dc.description.resumo | O objetivo deste trabalho foi analisar as transformações no meio urbano por influência de um Corredor Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) na cidade de Goiânia. A metodologia envolveu o processamento digital de imagens de sensoriamento remoto em ambientes de sistema de informação geográfica (SIG). O algoritmo utilizado para a classificação supervisionada das imagens foi o Máxima Verossimilhança (MAXVER). Para tanto foram utilizadas imagens orbitais de alta resolução espacial obtidas via a plataforma Google Earth Pro®, em distintas datas de aquisição, e que possibilitassem a análise espaço-temporal. Os resultados revelaram que a paisagem urbana dos trechos estudados, sofreu notáveis alterações com a implantação das obras do BRT, iniciada em 2013. Das imagens classificadas, verifica-se que as principais alterações foram a intensificação de áreas cobertas por superfícies comerciais, aumento das áreas pavimentadas, revitalização da vegetação arbórea e a remoção da vegetação gramínea ao longo de canteiros centrais do corredor BRT. | |
