A potencialidade do uso de recursos imagéticos no ensino de química para surdos

Resumo

In Chemistry teaching, it is common to observe difficulties in understanding scientific knowledge, and this scenario is intensified when the target audience has linguistic specificities, such as that of the deaf student. In this context, the research sought to evaluate the contributions of the use of imageticresources in the teaching and learning process of chemistry for the deaf, exploring the specifically visual memory of this audience. The methodological path chosen presents elements of the Participant Research (PP) that guided the elaboration of Pedagogical Interventions (PI) that dealt with the theme “health and food”. Our results showed that the use of imageticresources favors a better understanding of scientific concepts, enabling a better understanding of chemical knowledge during the teaching and learning process of the deaf, in addition to identifying aspects that, according to the effective and bilingual teacher, must be observed in deaf classroom.
