Paisagens do perten(ser): dinâmicas autobiogeográficas entre o cerrado e o mar

Abstract

The research Landscapes of Belonging: Autobiogeographic Dynamics between the Cerrado and the Sea aims, through research of an autobiographical nature, to discuss the relationship between my artistic productions, the landscapes relating to the Cerrado and the Sea, and the understanding of space as an agent of belonging. Using collage as a central methodology, I use the techniques of video art, stop motion, photography and drawing and writing, analyzing my artistic process from these places that are symbols of so many essential memories in my development, not only as an artist, but also as an individual. I evoke artists and their creations, which have somehow shaped my work and the way I merge with the spaces I have lived, live and will live in. In an autobiographical echo, I look to my belonging for the chance to interweave landscapes that are so far away, but so close to those who hold them close to their hearts.
