Ecologia integral: desafios para uma justiça socioambiental

Abstract

This article analyzed the situation of climate chaos caused by both natural and human factors in Brazil. A scenario of this chaos was chosen to be presented, understood from an epistemological and theoretical-methodological basis to verify the contradictory conception of the phenomena, while at the same time perceiving the construction of emancipatory paths towards global citizenship and socio-environmental justice.Reflections by Pope Francis were included from his Apostolic Exhortation Laudate Deumand Encyclical Laudato Si. In this chaotic context, the objective was to understand the categories of “integral ecology”and “socio-environmental justice”, in the context of climate change. For a situational view of the climate scenario, information from the press was used, followed by a literature review.
