Resumo

The increasing readjustments in electricity tariffs in Brazil, encourages the search for alternatives to reduce the costs of electricity bills. Among the available options, one that requires no investment is the tariff analysis, in which a study of the electric Power BI ll is performed, making it possible to determine, through the data, ontract changes and/or consumption reduction to achieve savings. Therefore, this monograph was developed with the objective of proving the advantages of using the data analysis tool, Power BI, in relation to Excel, as well as performing a tariff analysis of the main electricity bills of group A; UCs 10013360033, 10011474414, 10011867106, 1001966956, 10016612017, 14678135; at the Federal University of Goiás. To this end, first the analysis of the highest bill of each billable unit, Blue and Green, was performed using Microsoft Excel, using the rates approved by the National Electric Energy Agency (ANEEL) for the year 2023, thus determining which billable unit is the most economically advantageous and verifying the other components of the electricity bill. Subsequently, an algorithm was developed in Microsoft Power BI, using the DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) formula expression language, capable of performing the same tariff analysis for any consumer unit of group A listed, and a dashboard was developed to display the results. Finally, a comparison between Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Power BI analyses was performed. It was concluded that the data analysis service, Microsoft Power BI produces similar results to those obtained in Microsoft Excel, through a more efficient and intuitive process with data visualization in an interactive and simplified way. Furthermore, four other dashboards, with their respective analyzes, were generated in addition to the two used in the software comparison.
