Resumo
Metaverse and dinosaurs are two unlikely terms that, when aligned, reveal the capacity of technology within design to help other scientific fields in scientific dissemination and interaction. During the last few decades, the way people are consuming art, culture and science has become faster and more immersive, so that new technologies have become more and more necessary. Thus, this work aims to develop a prototype for the metaverse that provides the experience of interacting with a dinosaur species in a dinosaur exhibition in Brazil. For the development of the project, the Design Thinking method proposed by Vianna et al. (2012), its four steps
and nine tools. With this, it is expected that this application will contribute to the dissemination of Brazilian science, especially in the field of paleontology.
