A política de fomento à participação política de mulheres e negros: análise da Emenda Constitucional nº 117/2022

Abstract

This article examines Constitutional Amendment No. 117/2022 and aims to analyze its structure, provisions, legislative context and proposed changes, based on a qualitative approach and bibliographical research. The investigation highlights legislative motivations for affirmative action, especially in relation to the political participation of women and black people. Despite the inclusive nature of the amendment, the findings indicate that it creates amnesty for political parties and faces challenges in implementation. The article concludes that the effectiveness of the amendment depends on continued commitment to the implementation and monitoring of its provisions, and efforts to promote cultural and social changes.
