Resumo
This research is focused on understanding what are the contributions of the strategic
use of digital games as a constitutive element of computational thinking in early childhood
education. Therefore, the work aims to understand the place of digital games as a constitutive
element of computational thinking in early childhood education. The research has a qualitative
approach and bibliographical and documental character. Through the bibliographical survey, we
obtained results that indicate the absence of studies that approach this theme, because after
analyzing the selected researches, few approached digital games and computational thinking in
early childhood education. It is concluded, therefore, that this research can contribute with
reflections, supporting and helping to understand future research, as we understand throughout
this work that computational thinking and digital games in early childhood education can
contribute to the development and learning of children, working on concepts from Papert (1980)
and Wing (2006), being able to develop from programming, for example, logical reasoning,
problem solving, creativity, etc.
