Resumo
Thinking about how the teacher acts, which methodology is most appropriate to be
used in a given situation, which pedagogical trend to follow, what can or cannot be done in a
classroom and what limits are imposed on teaching work, the place of autonomy within the
document of the National Common Curricular Base for Early Childhood Education (BNCC-EI)
was something that caught a lot of attention and caused a lot of questioning. Therefore, the
research had as its object the neotechnicist tendency in the document of the National
Common Curricular Base (BNCC) and how this affects teaching autonomy. Its general
objective is to problematize the BNCC of Early Childhood Education, in order to reflect on the
place of teacher autonomy in this document and to verify the biases of its neotechnicist
tendency. To achieve this objective, the research used a qualitative approach methodology,
which deals with descriptive data; of the bibliographic type, carried out through a
bibliographic survey, carried out in the repositories of the Brazilian Digital Library of Theses
and Dissertations (BDTD) and the Journal Portal of the Coordination for the Improvement of
Higher Education Personnel (CAPES), and through the construction of the reference
theoretical; but it is also documentary, as it is the document of the National Common
Curricular Base; having carried out a literature review and analysis of the collected data
regarding the investigated theme. Once this was done, the hegemony of the business
community and the intentionality of the groups that competed for Brazilian education in
parallel with their influence in the BNCC were discovered. Therefore, it is concluded that, even
with so many impositions, the teaching work still has a certain autonomy, as it has a
discretionary power to be able to resist and transgress. Therefore, their role is to critically
analyze the documents and, most of the time, transgress them in order to adapt them in the
best way for their children and students.
