Análise cientométrica em periódicos da ciência da informação sobre marketing em bibliotecas

This paper analyzes through Scientometrics, the Brazilian Journals of Information Science on the library marketing during the last 10 years. It brings up a problem, that is the investigation of the scientific production on the subject, with the objective of identifying the scientific productions published in Brazil in periodicals of Information Science, identifying the magazines and articles that publish about marketing in libraries, as well as, to portray which years, authors and themes are associated with the scientific productions in those periodicals on library marketing and to measure the scientific productions on the themes during the last 10 years. As a methodology, a quantitative study was fulfilled through an exploratory, descriptive and bibliographical research, applied in national databases using as a tool the Scientometrics study. The results indicate that in this time period established in the research, only 24 articles were published, highlighting only one journal with the highest number of publications, as well as only two authors with the highest number of publications. It was concluded that there are few productions in journals on the subject treated, so the research seeks to contribute and instigate future scientific research on marketing in libraries.
