Resumo

This study aimed to analyze the UFG Librarianship's curriculum course of 1980, 1984 and 2004 in the light of the Minimum Librarianship's curriculum of the MEC / 1962, Minimum Librarianship's curriculum of the MEC / 1982 and National Curricular Guidelines of 2004. The objective was to identify the parameters for the creation of curriculum by the UFG Librarianship course. The research was a bibliographic research type and for the datas analysis was used the technique of Bardin (2004). The curriculum and their updating were analyzed, from its creation until the curriculum update in 2004, which was in force until 2016. The research sought to understand the historical and social aspects in force with each update, and the context of creation of the course. The conclusions show that the curriculum of the UFG Librarianship course followed the modifications suggested by the MEC, with the Minimum curriculum of 1962, 1982 and the National Curricular Guidelines of 2004, as well as the recommendations suggested by the UFG to create courses in the institution, in full curriculum setting and RGCG recommendations. As for the curriculum, it was possible to observe that although the number of technical subjects is still greater than the disciplines that tend to a more humanistic formation, UFG's librarianship curriculum stands out because it seeks to insert these contents in its pedagogical projects.
