Resumo
The didactic modalities are strategies of teaching and learning. A type of didactics modalities method used in teaching science and biology are the Education Projects. The work presented is a research-action with the objective to discuss the use of the modality “projects” during the lessons of Didactics of Sciences, in a course in Biological Sciences. The choice of this modality was determined based on the questions and uncertainties of the future teachers ‒ students of the discipline ‒ in relation of using of this modality into their classes after graduation. The dynamics of the activity was divided into: a) Selection of the problem; b) Preparation of work plan; c) Implementation of the plan. The pedagogical experience was conducted between 2009 and 2010. The results indicated the possibility of working with this modality in biology and science classes, demystifying the dichotomy between “theoretical possibilities against practical possibility” in the speech of students at the beginning of the discipline.
