Movimentos sociais e práticas educativas

Abstract

The objectives of this article are to present the acting of social movements as educational performances and its contribution to the enlargement of schooling in the Brazilian society, as well as to inquire about the new aspects of social movements in the recent context of globalization. As we mean it, educational performances are social-historical practices directly linked to objective conditions, to organizational attitudes and to the conceptions of world they create.
