Resumo

his research is a case study that aimed to investigate through documents and interviews how they are handling cases of violence in the elementary school physical education classes for Applied Education and Research Center Education - CEPAE UFG. And had the following specific objectives to identify the cases of violence and their encamiamentos also raising kinds of violence present in schools. The central question of the study was to answer "what types of violence in the physical education classes." The methodology used was an exploratory descriptive social research, conducting a qualitative case study, dividing the work into four steps: exploratory, descriptive, analytical and final report. This research is a contribution to the debate about violence at school and in physical education classes as well as the ramifications of this event as one of the major problems faced by the school is violence. With this research we identify the role of physical education when it comes to violence and the contributions it can offer students and school. The main references used were Saviani (1984) Authors Collective (1990), and Abramovay Street (2012); and Bourdieu (1992). From this study, the results were that there are several types of violence expressed in physical education classes, but the most frequent is physical violence and symbolic.
