Resumo

The general objective of the present research was to investigate how Physical Education is organized in the military school of management, trying to identify in which measures the military presence influences Physical Education classes. In turn, the specific objectives turned to the interest of investigating the pedagogical treatment of the Physical Education teacher regarding the sport content in military schools, establishing the discussions in the light of the pedagogical perspectives of the sport, as well as analyzing the teachers' curricular component. For this, we adopted the qualitative research of the type multiple case studies as north for the development of this work. The semi-structured interview was used as a technique for data collection and the Content Analysis propositions used to analyze the data found. In the midst of this, we carried out the research in two schools, one being a newly militarized one (1) and another that has been through this process for a long time (2). Summarizing, we have identified that teachers have diverse conceptions, whereas we do not find evidence that the understandings are related and / or directly influenced by military institutions. Regarding the curricular organization, we found that although there are similarities, schools structure their curriculum in a different way, so that school 1 presents a more diversified curriculum and school 2 organizes itself only for the teaching of sports content. Regarding the treatment given to the sport, it was verified that the teachers are still based on traditional methodologies, little knowing the proposals designed by the Sports Pedagogy. In addition, it was evidenced that there is no military influence over Physical Education classes, so that the faculty's understanding of the autonomy they have to elaborate their intervention projects is unanimous. Finally, as an indication of deepening and / or new work, we are thinking about the possibility of discussing this relationship in another way, since there seems to be an interest of the management group towards the sport.
