Resumo
In view of the complex historical context of deaf education in Brazil,
formally started in 1857, this paper proposes to identify and analyze articles published
in Brazilian journals, available in the database of the Scielo collection, on the
relationship of teachers regular public schools of basic education, who have deaf
students. This paper aims to analyze the relationship between regular school teachers
and the deaf student. The method is a systematic review of the literature, supported by
content analysis (BARDIN, 2016). For the construction of this article, the bibliographic
study carried out used seven articles from the period from 2002 to 2018. The
productions were categorized into: view on the deaf, inclusion and teacher training. It is
concluded that there are gaps in the education of the deaf due to the lack of teacher
training and inadequate school conditions for deaf students, their culture and language.
