Leite em “mama” África e a Educação para as Relações Étnico-Raciais (ERER) no ensino de química

Resumo

This paper presents the results of a Pedagogical Intervention discussing the role of chemistry in the discovery of milk production in North Africa in the fifth century before the Christian era and the re-signification of this practice in other regions of Africa and in the African diaspora in Brazil. This intervention was aimed at complying with decrees CNE/CP 01/2004 and CNE/CP 03/2004 in chemistry education. The reasons that led dairy producers to milk fraud were addressed. Qualitative tests for the detection of substances foreign to milk, such as starch, boric acid, salicylate anion and lead (II) were performed. Finally, the authorship of texts produced by students after practical classes was evaluated, regarding reports and the preparation/presentation of seminars.
