| dc.description.abstract | The present paper discusses the performance of the main landscape agents in the State of Amapá. To that end, the relations between agents, landscapes, practices and knowledge of indigenous peoples were considered and the landscape units and the behavior of the agents involved were characterized through the spatial and temporal dynamics of forest fires between 2000 and 2019. The data were obtained from the Amazon Fires Database, from Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas Espaciais – INPE, using the sensor reference from Terra /Aqua MODIS satellites, which allows analyzing the quantity of fi res and their relation with land use, enabling forest fire density mapping. The management of fi re by indigenous peoples transcends time and space and helps us to understand the relations with life cycles, which always regard the fi res and contribute to the maintenance of knowledges. | |
| dc.description.resumo | O presente artigo aborda a performance dos principais atores da paisagem no Estado do Amapá. Para tanto, perspectivou-se as relações entre atores, paisagens, práticas e saberes dos povos indígenas e se caracterizou as unidades de paisagem e o comportamento dos atores intervenientes através da dinâmica espacial e temporal dos focos de queimadas entre anos 2000 e 2019. Os dados foram obtidos do Banco de Dados de Queimadas, do INPE, com a utilização dos satélites de referência Sensor MODIS – Terra e Aqua –, que permitem analisar o quantitativo de focos e sua relação com o uso da terra, produzindo mapas de densidade de queimadas. O manejo do fogo pelos povos indígenas transcende o tempo e o espaço e nos ajuda a compreender as relações com os ciclos de vida, que sempre envolvem as queimadas e contribuem para a manutenção de saberes. | |
