Perfil dos consumidores de produtos orgânicos da feira agroecológica do Mercado Municipal de Goiânia-GO

Resumo

The present work analyses and discuss the profile of organic products consumer of agroecological open market in the Goiania’s Municipal Market. The research tool used was a semi-structured survey. The main results were: concern about the family health and quality of life, these consumers are willing to pay more for certified organic products and also the cultural and socioeconomic profile of these consumers is higher than the national average, considering that 84% of respondents have college education with some sort of specialized education. It was concluded that the relation with organic food is due to concerns about health and life quality.
