Biblioteca universitária como espaço de discussão em gênero e sexualidades: um estudo sobre o público TRANS na Biblioteca Central da Universidade Federal de Goiás

Abstract

Search know for the social paper from university library, as a proponent of discussions of gender and sexualities with a selection of Trans public. This work is necessary for the propagation of a culture and development of critical thinking. Being thus from the absence of the cultural actions for the Trans public in library, this work proposed of action research an of a photograph exhibition and talk round to discuss the importance of University library as agent of citizen training and transformation. This study took a qualitative approach. Information collected from questionnaires carried out in the cultural action proposal whit the UFG cisgender and transgender participants. This work confirms that the university library is a space to work on gender and sexuality.
