Resumo
The present work has as its theme Field education in the early years and the impacts of
multigrade classes in the teaching and learning process in a quilombola community in the
southeast of the state of Tocantins. The problem of the absence of public educational
policies aimed at rural and rural education in the early years was addressed, based on
the influence of multigrade classes in the teaching and learning process of students who
live in quilombola rural spaces and the closing of these schools. multigrade rural areas in
the city of Porto Alegre do Tocantins. The research was qualitative in nature, based on a
bibliographic survey, preparation of reading sheets and syntheses. The study provided an
expanded view of the government's lack of commitment to rural education with multigrade
classes.
