As a criterion, the sample included two school units, the public institution Federal Center for Teaching and Research Applied to Education, and the private institution Escola Piaget, both located in the city of Goiânia, Goiás. nature of the study and related to procedures is a case study with a qualitative approach. From the point of view of its objectives, it is exploratory research. The instrument used for data collection was a semi-structured and structured interview. The themes addressed in the interviews with librarians were: the relationship between librarian and faculty; developed actions; inclusive practices. For the school coordinators, the themes were: Length of experience at the institution; inclusive education; inclusion policy; the role of the librarian at school. The results reveal that the institutions analyzed practice inclusive education in everyday school life and are not restricted to children with disabilities. Inclusion takes place through the analysis of the particularities and individualities of each child, which may be due to cognitive deficit, disability of any nature, behavioral or emotional. Librarians work directly with the pedagogical team in the development of actions for reading, as well as in supporting teachers about the pedagogical material, and they have been successful. The inexistence of a specific inclusion project for children with physical disabilities does not reveal the omission of looking at these children, but the plural way in which schools perceive their students in the teaching and learning process.
