Resumo

This work arises from the considerations carried out in our dissertation whose main objective was based on the analysis of how teachers send the expository Class in the construction of knowledge about the relief in School Geography. Under this foundation we seek to evaluate the extent to which the routing of this space component contributes to the students' conscious and critical formation. These analyzes are based on the understanding that the geographic knowledge can constitute of relevant elements for the constitution of the autonomy of the students. In order to do this, we carried out a qualitative research of the type of case study, we selected two schools of the state education network of Goiânia / GO, in which we chose two geography teachers from these educational units as research subjects. With the purpose of understanding their conception about the expository class and how these teachers mobilize this teaching strategy when they approach the thematic relief in Basic Education.
