Study’s group between freshman and seniors: an alternative study and discussion perspective at the university. In this paper it is described and analyzed a Study’s Group experience
between freshman and seniors in differential spaces of a university environment. This Study it is about a current project of the Goiás’ Federal University’s Chemistry’s Institute (GE/IQ-UFG). The
analyzed aspects in this research consist of student’s evaluations about their own participation in this project and how important this is for their formative period in the university. We support this
type of formative period based on what we understand of university’s ‘social function’ and from the example of Bologna’s process, specially the Portuguese case. Interviews registered in audio and
video were the methodological instrument. The analysis shows that the students’ evaluations of the study’s group were positive. It could also be identified limits and potentialities’ of this alternative
proposal of formative university period.
