Resumo
Neologismo, for me, develops in a way similar to the word Merz, which for the German artist Kurt Schwitters (1887–1948) served to designate his artistic processes and his own style, becoming a term that synthesized and permeated his entire creative practice. In the same way, this research aims to introduce a neologism as a naming term for my creative process and to investigate how memory, mass popular culture, and language can operate upon this concept as a creative and artistic methodology. Furthermore, it seeks to explore, through a practical-investigative study of authorial productions and experiments, how recurrence and exhaustion permeate these processes and structures. That is, exhaustion as a metaphor for the production of two-dimensional visual objects and digital experimentations, where the use of word and image simultaneously dialogues with visual poetry and artistic drawing.
