Resumo

This research is part of the field of related studies on ethnic-racial relations for education in Brazil, as well as brings discussions and surveys on the main academic productions about the studies involving the theme of Branquitude in Brazil and their respective contributions in the educational area. The aim of this work is to carry out a bibliographic survey of the academic production of contemporary studies on Education Whiteness in Brazil. The methodology is based on the exploratory nature, through a qualitative approach and a bibliographic survey through studies that present ideas and/or hypotheses about the theme. The results were centralized in the significant absence of studies that address the theme of Whiteness in education, in addition to the need to address and explain the studies that involve the concepts of race, ethnicity and racism in the area of education. It is concluded that this work can contribute in reflections necessary for education and anti racist combat, in the same way that advances in new research on the subject, because they will provide support, analyses and theoretical foundations necessary to assist in the solution of social problems so indispensable for our Brazil.
