Resumo
This work was carried out from a bibliographic review, which aims to analyze the production of knowledge of struggles as a teaching content of school physical education. To analyze this production we used as a help of five journals of physical education which are: Journal of Physical Education, Thinking Practice, RBCE (Brazilian Journal of Sport Science), Motrivivence and Movement. We used the reading of titles and abstracts to separate the works that were or not related to the teaching of struggles at school. For data analysis we used 3 criteria that were level of intervention in the reality of the students, type of research and relation to a methodological approach. Thus we verified that the production of the knowledge of the struggles for school area is still small compared to the production in the high performance sports area, thus realizing that there is a need for more research on this subject, because as analyzed if there is still fear on the part of of many professionals about the use of struggles as a physical education contente.
