Resumo
This article aims to analyze the gamefication as a didactic perspective in history
teaching, under the theme of the Portuguese maritime expansion in the four hundred. In
order to respond to this scenario, a documental and bibliographic research was used,
based on scientific papers and official documents, for the survey, data collection, and
qualitative data analysis. The results showed that the gamefication was used by the
applications and that the game mechanics can be used from the didactic transposition in
history teaching. It is then concluded that the gamefication as a didactic perspective is
viable and its use in history teaching is adequate, considering the playfulness in
teaching and the stimulus in the students, when learning with pleasure, fun, and joy.
