Resumo
Nuestro objetivo en este artículo es mostrar cómo las
investigaciones realizadas por el Observatorio de la Educación Escolar
Indígena, articuladas con las investigaciones de la beca y del proyecto
extraescolar del curso de Licenciatura Intercultural de Formación de
Profesores Indígenas de la Universidade Federal de Goiás, contribuyen
al conocimiento de la realidad sociolingüística de los pueblos indígenas
de la región Araguaia-Tocantins y a la adopción de políticas lingüísticas
en las prácticas de la enseñanza bilingüe en la escuela y de políticas
de fortalecimiento de las lenguas maternas originarias en las
comunidades.
Our aim in this paper is to present how research studies conducted by the Indigenous Education Observatory, combined with investigations conducted within the context of internship and extracurricular projects associated with the undergraduate program for Teacher Intercultural Indigenous Education at Federal University of Goiás, contribute to knowledge about the sociolinguistic reality of the indigenous region Araguaia-Tocantins and to the adoption of language policies pertaining to bilingual teaching practices in the school and to the strengthening of native languages originating in the context of local communities.
