The possible implications for the meaning of human formation and the boundaries set by the formation of reflective and deliberative subjectivities are a main theme. Divided into four chapters, the paper discusses the institution of society and the concept of radical imaginary; Castoriadis creates a fundamental distinction between autonomy and heteronomy then explains the development process of the individual by society. The next chapter investigates how Castoriadis interprets the experience of Greek thought, particularly the creation of philosophy and democracy, basic individual design and collective autonomy. In the third chapter, a resurgence in Modernity is studied. These implications as well as affects from the distant past can be seen in politics and education here. What is at issue in ancient Greece and modern Europe is a collective project of autonomy inseparable from the way sociological ideals and education. The significations of that historical period, especially these key concepts present in this discipline, are emancipatory in its normative dimensions. The final section of this thesis discusses the latest phase of Modernity. Castoriadis considers this a period of obscure autonomy, privatization of the individual and acceptance. The implications for training a school attacked by standard control and achievement are examined in relation to the trivialization of knowledge and thought from this era. This thesis aims to demonstrate that a philosophy of education consists in lieu of Castoriadis position against every form of heteronymous education, confirming that autonomy can only make sense when human formation is able to establish a critically and creatively relationship with the institutions, values and themselves.Item Sociedade do espetáculo e formação humana: mercado, tecnologia e cultura(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2011-07-13) PAZ, Weligton Rodrigues da; COELHO, Ildeu Moreira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4116924347437078This work interrogates the contemporary processes of training, educational or not, increasingly varied and diverse and that develop in a wide range of social levels, from traditional institutions like family and school practices by focusing on individual and collective consumption goods , or other technology. Shows that the current society is inherently a form of material life, centered on the production is the production of objects with values of exchange, goods, and inseparable from the alienation and reification. This society has been thoroughly studied and understood by Marx (1818-1883) and Lukacs as discussed below. It also demonstrates that in its most advanced society that leads to extreme forms of alienation and fetishization of social life studied, conceived by Guy Debord (1931-1994), and work to create the concept of society of the spectacle, in his quest to understand the current form of alienation. Here we emphasize the importance of the commodity technology as a mediation between the individual and social life, particularly as a means of communication and information. From this idea of society and its characteristics as the expansion of the image or the products and vehicles of cultural industry, reflects on the mechanisms of formation to develop this historical and social formation. Highlights the siege to formal education and commercial institutions, traditional socialization and the importance of children as consumers semiformal, marketing and economicização pedagogical practices and teaching institutions. I ask about the reality. Theoretical issue in Hannah Arendt s thinking and others philosophers which she refers, I examine the vita contemplative and the vita active whit its implications in the culture. So, my conclusion is that the means of education isn t to demonstrate how reality is, but how it would became, affirming the metaphysic s merit.
