Even if their principle means of commercialization is known: institutional markets, fair markets and supply centers, information about family farming participation in National Supply Centers and producer’s markets is still incipient. The aim of this work is to characterize family farming who trades in the Producer’s Stone of Ceasa, Goias. This research is classified as exploratory using documental analysis and enriched with a case study, using a quali-quantitative approach in the analysis of the collected data. In order to characterize the productive profile of rural establishments for each producer who trades in the Stone, it was analyzed three years of a certificate of production emitted by Emater, Goias. For the characterization of each farmer and their respective socioeconomic profile, 138 farmers were interviewed. The collected data were grouped and tabulated in spreadsheets. Later, it was crossed and analyzed with the help of IBM SPSS statistics software. The results showed rural establishments with a 50-kilometer radius of Ceasa-GO, small areas of vegetable and fruit crops, and elevate crop diversification ; and with a massive use of agricultural technologies such as fertilization, liming and irrigation. 129 farmers of 138 (93,5%) were classified as family farming. Through this research, it was possible to map the principles rural establishments and family farmers of the agriculture greenbelt of Goiânia metropolitan region, responsable in supplying hortifruti products to Centre and North region of Brazil.Item Cadeia dominial e processo de desapropriação da Fazenda Acaba vida, Niquelândia-GO (1756 a 2021)(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2021-03-22) Ferretti, Kleber Destefani; Corcioli, Graciella; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5838446995807079; Corcioli, Graciella; Cruz, Fabiana Thomé da; Oliveira, Ariovaldo Umbelino de; Arrais, Cristiano Pereira Alencar; Oliveira, Adriano Rodrigues deThis paper seeks to analyze legal points that permeate rural expropriation for land reform. It analyzes the agrarian reform model and who benefits from it in the expropriation process, based on the expropriation of Fazenda Acaba Vida, located in Niquelândia-GO. It aims to demonstrate, based on the documents of the property, that goes from its origin to the current situation, and the administrative and judicial processes, to argue that the State privileges the great rural owner in all stages of land tenure regularization and, consequently, harms Brazilian society. In order to carry out these analyzes, the methodology used was the case study, based on the sesmarias records of the Overseas Historical Archive of Portugal, on the property transfer certificates of the Niquelândia- GO Property Registry Office, as well as information contained in the processes, administrative at INCRA, located in Goiânia-GO and judicial at the 4ª Federal Court of Goiânia-GO. With this collected documentary framework it was possible to verify that: 1. The lands are donated by sesmaria; 2. About 65% of the land in the property results from the illegal appropriation of vacant lands legalized by the judiciary; 3. The owner failed to fulfill the social function; 4. There were landless families in the place with the possibility of usucapir, and; 5. The expropriation action has lasted for more than 30 years. Finally, it is shown that the State had losses that pervade: 1. The sesmarial donation; 2. The loss of unoccupied land; 3. Compensation that the expropriated should not receive; 4. The acquisition of land unfit for agrarian reform. The results also show that the value of the property, which used to be R$ 19.979.746,77, went to R$ 63.003.562,36, in benefit of the expropriated property.Item Pronaf, empreendedorismo rural e capital social: uma análise das famílias assentadas no município de Rio Verde - GO(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2019-03-06) Medeiros, Leonardo Guimarães; Corcioli, Graciella; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5838446995807079; Corcioli, Graciella Corcioli; Figueiredo, Reginaldo Santana; Cardoso Sobrinho, Carlos AntônioBrazilian agribusiness is widely recognized by its expressive crops of grains, production of proteins and fibers, as well as achieving high levels of productivity, due mainly to the development and use of research, technology, and innovation. However, there is an old and recurring debate in rural Brazil about rural development, which mainly includes remote cities and small farms. Several models and theories emerged in academia aiming to propose a better way to attain rural development. In this context, this dissertation aims to understand how the existing (inter) relations among PRONAF (Programa Nacional de Fortalecimento da Agricultura Familiar), social capital, and rural entrepreneurship work together to attain rural development. The research was conducted in agrarian reform settlements in the city of Rio Verde, Goiás, Brazil. Through interviews and questionnaires, it was possible to determine the socioeconomic profile of the settled families, as well as to characterize the utilization of PRONAF resources to identify the social capital present in the settlements and to better understand the entrepreneurial profile of the farmers. Therefore, these analyses allow one to ascertain the relationship between these topics, particularly, the family who utilizes the credit provided by PRONAF and enjoys the benefits of the social capital that exists in the community and who demonstrates a better entrepreneurial profile regarding managing the resources will have a better chance of developing socially and economically than those who are not aligned with the proposed model. This study aimed to participate in the scholarly debates that intend to find the best manner to foster rural development.Item Análise de produtores de tomate de mesa do estado de Goiás e uso de Vant como ferramenta para levantamento de informações(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2020-04-21) Quintanilha, Karolino Torres; Nascimento, Abadia dos Reis; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6270103344297514; Corcioli, Graciella; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5838446995807079; Corcioli, Graciella; Nascimento, Abadia dos Reis; Borges, Lino Carlos; Cruz, José Elenilson daThe tomato originates in South America, more specifically in the Andes region, its domestication took place in Mexico. It is a very important vegetable in both the national and international scene and it requires a lot of technology in its cultivation to achieve high yields. For the crop to be competitive in the national scenario, it is essential to know the main systems of the tomato production chain, as well as the profile of the producers and the technologies used. The use of UAV is being tested as a tool for precision agriculture and can be used in large table tomato crops to contribute to some data surveys. Thus, the first chapter of the present study aimed to present a sample of 23 municipalities and the main producers of table tomatoes in the state of Goiás, in order to map and identify the cultivation area of the producers of this crop, as well as to identify the place of production and technologies applied in the field. The data collection was carried out in the years 2018 and 2019, with support from EMATER-GO, LAPIG and UFG, via questionnaires applied on-the-spot and by telephone calls. The second chapter analyzed the profile and production technologies of 15 producers, as well as the feasibility of using UAV as a methodological tool for gathering information. The research is classified as exploratory, qualitative and quantitative. The main tools used for data processing were QGIS and Pix4D. UAV overflights were performed in three different municipalities chosen from the 23 municipalities investigated in the survey. The tools used for data processing were Excel, Word and IBM SPSS. As main results, 99 producers were found, with a total area of 290.27 hectares in 23 municipalities where table tomatoes are produced in the state of Goiás. As for the second trial, it was found that the profiles of the investigated producers are of middleaged people, with good schooling and predominantly male. The technologies applied in the production of table tomatoes follow a pattern with few variations in methods. It was verified that it is possible to use UAV as a methodological tool to assist in the confrontation of information obtained by on-site visits, for this tool is more efficient than satellite images.Item Terra, Estado e reforma agrária: ilegitimidade da cadeia dominial do imóvel destinado ao assentamento Mosquito (Goiás-GO)(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2022-02-14) Silva, Emanuel Jeremias Ramalho da; Corcioli, Graciella; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5838446995807079; Corciol, Graciella; Ribeiro, Dinalva Donizete; Oliveira, Adriano Rodrigues deThe aim of this study is to analyse the process of constitution of the Mosquito Settlement Project, located in the municipality of Goiás-GO, examining the origin of the property "São Sebastião" or "Mosquito" as a legal nature; the role of the State, especially through INCRA and IDAGO, in dealing with the peasants' demands during the period of occupation of the farm and the process of expropriation of the property; and the fulfilment of the expectations of the land reform beneficiaries during the development of the Mosquito Settlement Project. An in-depth survey of the property was carried out, covering the period from 1857 to 1985. A careful examination of the history of the property revealed a series of irregularities, with particular emphasis on the lack of a foundation and connection between the various registers and the alleged owners. It was found that the property was not separated from the public domain, and that its legal nature as a public asset was still preserved; therefore, it was a wasteland that should have been recognised as being under the domain of the State of Goiás, by means of a discriminatory action, to be proposed by IDAGO. The refusal of the organ responsible for this recognition led to expropriation for agrarian reform purposes in 1986, with the consequent convalidation of errors and unsanctionable defects in favour of the owners - who benefited from the expropriation indemnity amounts. Furthermore, the property was repeatedly assessed as being unviable for a settlement project, given its low quality for agricultural activities, which was confirmed by the work carried out by INCRA and SEBRAE in the Recuperation Plan for the Mosquito Settlement, in 2006, which found low productivity; losses in the supply of food for the settlers; evasion of approximately 50% of the original beneficiaries; and a lack of prospects for succession.Item Desafios e possibilidades da regularização fundiária no processo de herança intergeracional da agricultura familiar no município de Silvânia-GO(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2022-02-28) Ximenes, Sara de Lima Saeghe Alcanfor; Corcioli, Graciella; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5838446995807079; Corcioli, Graciella; Chehab, Isabelle Maria Campos Vasconcelos; Cruz, Fabiana Thomé daIn order to access some public policies, the family farmer needs to have his rural property in good standing, and its non-compliance may lead to competitive limitations, as an example, the promotion of policies such as the National Program for the Strengthening of Family Farming (PRONAF) and the National Program for Land Credit (PNCF). To address the problem, the study aims to investigate the challenges, causes, consequences and possibilities of addressing the lack of legal equity regularity in the process of intergenerational inheritance in family farming in the municipality of Silvânia-GO, delimiting two local communities as objects of study and the obligations related to the processes of patrimonial succession, considering the legal framework, the entry into force of the Civil Code/2002. This exploratory and documental research describes the scenario, including the period of SarsCov-2, the COVID-19 pandemic, the laws in force that are applied to family farmers, as benefits and main legal confrontations. The research analyzed the reasons for not regularizing, and, if this has already been done, the farmers' access or not to public policies. As a result, it was observed that the heirs who regularized their lands did so by means of judicial inventory and usucaption, an unusual institute for generational inheritance issues. The heirs who remain on the land are mostly middle-aged and elderly, and do not know about the public policies described above or, if they do, they have not accessed them.
