Item O lugar do leitor na poesia de Manoel de Barros(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2010-03-19) BARROS, Nismária Alves David; CAMARGO, Goiandira de Fatima Ortiz de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3029764057965151This thesis studies work by poet Manoel de Barros, published between 1937 and 2008, to know and to detail the procedures that delineate the reader s place and that promote the readability of his poems. Investigate how the poetic discourse by Barros builds the reception of his texts is a contribution to the field of Brazilian studies of contemporary poetry and it is in search s line "Poetics of Modernity". At first this research is based on the concept of reader as a textual construction from the theory of Model-Reader by Umberto Eco. Then it is considered the role of poetry is communication, according to theoretical assumption by Michael Hamburger, because the poetry communicates the art and the man. Eventually this research discusses the eroticism related to poetic creation, essentially based on meanings of eroticism by Octavio Paz as body poetic as verbal eroticism. Considering this theoretical support and others citations in analysis of selected poems, we can identify in poetry by Manoel de Barros, for example, the performative act in the metalinguistic discourse, the invention of a lyrical subject as poet, the indication of an interlocutor in the text, the memory of reading, the experience lived, the use of irony as paradox and the eroticism. The results confirm that the emphasis on reading is a key element in poetic construction by Barros. This writer modernizes and renews the modern experience of poetry because he communicates the historical experience in order to organize and master his poetic materials. When Barros makes poetry, he makes the subject and the reader, he shares his poetic values with the reader, he incentives the reader to think about itself and the world, he offers his greatest contribution, which is the appreciation of poetry, and he invites the necessary humanity of the man.Item Personagens e escrita diante do espelho: a questão do duplo em quatro romances de Roberto Drummond(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2009-09-14) BORGES, Ronaldo Elias; FARIA, Zênia de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8316982495500415This study aims at analyzing the theme of the double in four novels written by Roberto Drummond: Ontem à noite era sexta-feira (1988), Hilda Furacão (1991), Inês é morta (1993) and O Cheiro de Deus (2001). Based on the examination of the procedures used by the author to constitute the double in the works previously mentioned, we verified that this element was mostly used by characters who were either their own double or twin brothers. When it comes to the first case, we can observe it in Inês é morta; the second one, in Ontem à noite era sexta-feira as well as in O cheiro de Deus. In addition to this, it is relevant to point out that in our study, we found out that Roberto Drummond duplicated both his characters as his own writing, constituting what we call, in this study, as the double of the writing. We analyzed such narrative strategy in the following novels: Hilda Furacão, Ontem à noite era sexta-feira and O cheiro de Deus. For the development of this study, we learned on the studies carried out by the following authors: Nicole Bravo, Yves Pélicier and Ana Maria Lisboa de Mello as far as the myth of the double is concerned and in the considerations made by Sigmund Freud, Otto Rank and Clément Rosset in relation to the splitting of the Self, as well as in Lucien Dällenbach s and Linda Hutcheon s reflections about the narrative procedures concerning mise en abyme and metafiction respectively.Item A dicção ensaístico-ficcional do personagem-escritor na narrativa brasileira contemporânea(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2012-08-24) CAMARGO, Flávio Pereira; FARIA, Zênia de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8316982495500415In our research, we propose initially to rescue some of the current trends of contemporary Brazilian prose fiction in order to introduce the reader to some of its main lines of force, especially a metafictional narrative, produced in the late twentieth century and early twenty-first century. To accomplish this bibliographical study, we chose to divide it into two parts. In the first part, entitled A narrativa brasileira contemporânea, comprising two chapters, we have made some considerations about the concept of contemporary literature, as we did a rescue of the critical reception of Brazilian literature produced in recent decades, followed by an extensive discussion on the issues constituent of metafictional narrative. In the second part, titled A encenação do fazer literário na prosa de ficção brasileira contemporânea, we propose to effectively analyze narrative and discursive strategies employed by Sérgio Sant'Anna, Antonio Fernando Borges and Rubem Fonseca in the preparation of his metafictional novels, respectively: Um crime delicado (1997), Braz, Quincas & Cia (2002), e Diário de um fescenino (2003), dedicating to each of these works a specific chapter in which we seek to highlight the discursive and narrative strategies employed by the authors in the construction process and elaboration of his novels, in order to explain the different manifestations of the contemporary metafictional narrative.Item NARRATIVAS JUVENIS BRASILEIRAS: EM BUSCA DA ESPECIFICIDADE DO GÊNERO(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2009-10-09) CRUVINEL, Larissa Warzocha Fernandes; TURCHI, Maria Zaira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1028003493670371This study investigates the specificities of contemporary Brazilian youth literature based on the initial hypotheses that such works attempt to establish an educational process for life. The concept of education is based on Bildungsroman (or formation novel), a genre whose paradigm is Goethe s Wilhelm Meister s Apprenticeship. The human-centred formation in this novel goes beyond purely practical teachings and leads the main character towards a maturity process promoted by existential ordeals. Thus, Meister s educational principles are taken into account in order to observe how the educational issue is represented in youth literature. This theoretical research aims to discuss the possible relationship between formation novels and youth literature as well as its characteristics. Works by Sandra Beckett (1997), Daniel Delbrassine (2002, 2006), João Luís Ceccantini (1993, 2000), Geffard-Lartet (2005), and Danielle Thaler (2002) were used as reference. Furthermore, the Vaga-lume Series published by Editora Ática was analysed. The series is a pioneering collection in Brazil as regards publishing novels for young readers. The analysis also included the finalist novels for the Jabuti Prize which were selected by Câmara Brasileira do Livro (CBL) from 2006 to 2008 in the Best Youth Book category. Readers undergoing a formation process feel seduced by specific strategies related to thematic and formal choices used in such novels. The educational issue is important due to the fact that the young character shows greater experience after facing ordeals. Therefore, in order to understand the tendencies in contemporary youth narratives, it is necessary to discuss its features and carry out an intrinsic analysis of works published under the heading of youth literature.Item Tempo e memória na ficção de William Faulkner(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2011-06-27) GRANGEIRO, Alessandra Carlos Costa; CAMARGO, Goiandira de Fatima Ortiz de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3029764057965151This is a study of William Faulkner s works concerning the saga Yonapatawpha. The works were read from the themes of time and memory. We made a theoretical trajectory over time and noted the conception assumed in the 18th century novel, which has a singular and linear time, and in modern novel, in which time is singular/plural. We consider the narrative, in a general way, as a poetic solution to the aporetic of time and we point to the bond that the literary work has with the world and with the reader. For that we made a trajectory on the threefold character of mimesis, based on considerations of Paul Ricoeur. In this sense, firstly, we point out the relationship of the saga and the weaving of the plot with the history of the southern United States. This demonstration has assumed the intersection between fiction and history, for they, taken together, have the power to refiguring time. Secondly, we analyzed the novel The sound and the fury. At this point, we confined ourselves to discussions of Gerard Genette and Robert Humphrey, for beyond grasping the refiguration of time in the weaving of the plot, we wanted to seize it in the level of the immanent structure of the narrative. We have used the assumption that the narrative incorporated the concept of structure of social sciences, and focusing on the concept of structure, concurrency, that we kept the relationship between fiction and history. At this point, we demonstrate that the concept singular/plural time was mimicked in the immanent structure of the narrative. Finally, we bring to evidence that the relationship between time and memory points to the historical issues and to metaphysical questions, and to eternity, which is, for Plato and Augustine, the opposite of time of living, of experience. Moreover, we put into evidence that both history and eternity also incorporate the concept of singular/plural time. We return to the ideas of Ricoeur and undertake a discussion on the level of mimesis III, through dialogue with major critics of the Faulknerian work. We did our reading seeking convergence between the works The sound and the fury and Absalom, Absalom. From our reading, this convergence occurs in the interest of the Quentin for the history of Sutpen s family. These works, without releasing from the most linear aspects of time, explore the hierarchical levels which constitute the depth and the complexity of temporal experience. We finish the demonstration of the character of the threefold character of mimesis, and the levels of critical reading of a text which should point to two ways: to the configuration level of the work and to the world that this configuration protrudes out of itself, which is a world vision related to a temporal experience, which has its roots in the aporiae of St. Augustine, that is, in great contrast between the distentio and the intentio animi.Item O Ver Poético: Arnaldo Antunes e Eduardo Kac(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2010-04-23) MARTINS, Patrícia Ferreira da Silva; CAMARGO, Goiandira de Fatima Ortiz de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3029764057965151This thesis, developed within the research line Modern Poetics, aims at providing a critical and analytical reading of the experimental poetry by Arnaldo Antunes and Eduardo Kac, focusing on the practices that emphasize, above all, the relations between poetic experimentation, visuality and technology. In this sense, we present a reflection that develops among the border of literature, art and science. The work also presents a general notion of what can be called digital poetry and cyberpoetry, emphasizing the poetic works, within these inter-related practices, that have been produced in Brazil and in the world. This field imposes upon us a theoretical discussion that develops around the way of approaching the computational poetry and, consequently, around the questions related to interface and interactivity and the shifts within the system author-work-reception. In order to do that, our theoretical discussion is articulated around Jorge Luiz Antonio s and Christopher Funkhouser s reflections about the electronic and digital poetry. We also count with the aesthetic proposals of Suzete Venturelli, Anne Cauquelin and Claudia Giannetti. From these readings, we establish an approach to deal with this poetic form. This approach, as an open process of negotiation, emphasizes the link observer-work that aligns with the concepts of interface and interactivity. It is intended to investigate, with this work, elements as the vitality of the experimental technological poetic production of both poets in reveling tensions in our time, exploiting the limits of subjectivity before the new means and collaborating to the humanization of technologies.Item LIRA IMANENTE: POEMA SUJO & METAFORMOSE(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2009-04-24) MOREIRA, Wilton Cardoso; CAMARGO, Goiandira de Fatima Ortiz de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3029764057965151The present paper is a reading of Poema Sujo (1991) by Ferreira Gullar and Metaformose (1998) by Paulo Leminski, trying to establish how those poems, even having absorbed procedures from modernism on their writing, in fact move away from the poetry of modernism, once by the so called lyricism of content, of subjective expression or social representation, either of the objective lira that tries to build the poem as an autonomous structure of language, a trend that gets from the concretism its more important development. The objective is to show that Poema Sujo and Metaformose are included under the regimen of another lira or poetry and are conceived as works that can not be reduced or explained by any fundament, essence or structure of base, even on its more empirical or historical meanings, such as the subjectivity, the society and the language bases that the theories, critical readings and poetry of modernist nature use to prescribe for the creation and interpretation of the poem. Both poems are not possible to be not interpreted nor even as hybridism or synthesis of two or more of these fundamentals. They are poems that refuse the fundamentals transcendence and as a consequence are marked as an immanent lira. Another proposal of this paper is to show as this immanent lira get close to the ideas of some European thinkers contemporaries of Gullar and Leminski, particularly Jacques Derrida, Gilles Deleuze & Felix Guattari and Gianni Vattimo, whom looked to develop a Philosophy that needs the notions of be, fundamentals, essence and unit. The final part of this thesis is an attempt of elaboration with a bit more severity the concept of immanent lira in contrast with the poetical of modernity and modernism; and relate them to the problematic concepts of post-modernity and post-modernism; and to outline some problems that the concept and practice of a lyricism (and a literature) immanent bring to the contemporary literatureItem Português intercultural: fundamentos para a educação inguística de professores e professoras indígenas em formação superior específica numa perspectiva intercultural(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2012-03-30) NASCIMENTO, André Marques do; SILVA, Maria do Socorro Pimentel da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8282083433640454The general aim of this thesis is to present the foundations concerning a proposal of work with communicative practices in Portuguese language for Brazilian indigenous teachers in the specific context of higher education at Licenciatura Intercultural course, at Universidade Federal de Goiás, from an intercultural perspective. Considering the inevitable moral and ethical dimensions surrounding this work, since it requires constant decisions making and selections, and therefore, is not neutral with respect to the power relations that pervade education in general, as well as language education in sociocultural contexts of asymmetry, the central aspect of this proposal is to place the indigenous teachers as the generators and co-constructors subjects of its bases, that is, demonstrate how the voices of teachers, through his and her demands, perceptions and expectations about the use of Portuguese language and its study, emerge as the foundation from which all reflection is given concerning the dimensions of this proposal. This work is focused exclusively on the development of the curriculum of Intercultural Portuguese, from the effective participation of indigenous teachers, whose voices are heard and implemented through the concepts, guidelines and curriculum objectives, from a perspective that seeks autonomy of indigenous teachers regarding the use of Portuguese language in their intercultural communicative practices, and that is, above all, culturally and linguistically responsive.Item Uma pesquisa colaborativa com duas professoras universitárias de inglês : entraves e mudanças(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2010-04-30) PAULA, Luciane Guimarães de; PESSOA, Rosane Rocha; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3633216363498900The purpose of this study was to develop a collaborative research with the two teachers of English one of them being the researcher herself of a public university in the state of Goiás aiming at their professional development by means of reflective sessions about theoretical texts and about their own practices. This professional development, needless to say, is of great importance once the university is responsible for the education of the teachers that work in the city and in the neighboring towns. Nevertheless, this is a collaborative study that, differently from the majority, focuses on its difficulties as from the very beginning it was detected impediments to the collaboration between the participants and difficulties in promoting changes in the practical and theoretical conceptions of the participant teacher. Thus, as soon as these difficulties in terms of collaboration were identified, this work was restructured and its main objective became the analysis of the difficulties in the collaborative research by means of the following objectives: a) analyze the professional identity of the participant; b) analyze the professional identity of the researcher and the relationship established between the participant and the researcher; and c) examine the consequences of the reflective sessions in terms of change in the teaching practice. As theoretical background, three pillars of scientific knowledge gave support to the present research: a) studies of identity according to the cultural theory, and also the concept of identity according to the perspective of applied linguistics; b) the hierarchical relationship between the scientific knowledge and the practical knowledge of the teacher; c) Reflective teaching and the process of teacher change. The analysis of the data evidenced that the profile of the participant teacher as well as the profile of the researcher and the relationship established between them were aspects that inhibited the collaboration between both participants. The lack of collaboration between them, in turn, had as a consequence the failure in the promotion of changes and professional development of the participant teacher. As a result, this study demonstrates that collaboration in investigation contexts where there is clear asymmetry regarding authority and/or to official knowledge represents a difficult challenge to surpass. Besides that, the difficulty in collaboration can, in many cases, undermine the main objective of the reflective approach, which is the promotion of professional development and emancipatory pedagogical practice.Item Leitura e escrita na narrativa de Osman Lins(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2010-05-27) RIBEIRO, Renata Rocha; CAMARGO, Goiandira de Fatima Ortiz de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3029764057965151This study deals with two aspects in Osman Lins fictional narratives: the reading and the writing. Both aspects are seen in the plot level and in the characters level, in four Lins narratives: O visitante (1955), Nove, novena (1966), Avalovara (1973) e A rainha dos cárceres da Grécia (1976). Our objective is to verify as Lins approaches the reading and the writing in his narratives, under the perspective of a kind of accumulation of these subjects, from the first to the last Lins narratives. To carry out this work, we divide it in two parts. The first one is composed by two chapters, in which we discuss the reading and the reader, the writing and the writer in theoretical, critical and historical texts, such as Eco, Chartier e Dällenbach, among others. We also see some literary texts that represent these subjects. In the second part of this study, we analyze the reading and the writing in Lins narratives, considering a dialogue with the critical studies about this author and his essays. From this analysis, we observe that the author accumulates the reading and the writing aspects throughout his narratives, from O visitante to A rainha dos cárceres da Grécia.Item Línguas cruzadas, histórias que se mesclam: ações de documentação, valorização e fortalecimento da língua Chiquitano no Brasil(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2012-06-18) SANTANA, Aurea Cavalcante; BORGES, Monica Veloso; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2060190094208263; SILVA, Maria do Socorro Pimentel da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8282083433640454The Chiquitano, poorly known in Brazil, are part of the contemporary Indian groups, segregated and silenced by the different contexts of population density of the geopolitical frontiers. Living currently in the frontier between Brazil and Bolivia, the Chiquitano of the Brazilian communities live in a process of ethnogenesis, searching for favorable ways to ressignification of the ethnic collectivity and to the citizenship of law through the identity recognition and the demarcation of their lands. And in this way, attempting to contribute for the strengthening and the revitalization of the Chiquitano language is that this work is contextualized. Based on several theoretical and methodological premises, this Thesis addresses historical, sociolinguistic, phonetic and phonological aspects of the Chiquitano language in the Brazilian communities of Vila Nova Barbecho, Acorizal, Central and Fazendinha, in the municipality of Porto Esperidião, in the State of Mato Grosso. Reflections about the situation of endangered language experienced in these communities and the Indigenous people´s involvement in the actions for the strengthening of the identity and in the initiatives for the revitalization of their ancestral mother tongue are also presented in this thesis. It is also shown how the dialogic contact among the research for Doctorate, the socialization of the linguistic data and the Chiquitano community´s motivation served as a basis for actions and pedagogical proposals, which subsidized the definition of an experimental orthography and encouraged didactic activities, seeking motivation of the learners for the appropriation of the Chiquitano language and culture. Item O sistema de classificação nominal Akwe-Xerente (Jê): âmbitos de análise(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2010-05-31) SIQUEIRA, Kênia Mara de Freitas; BRAGGIO, Silvia Lúcia Bigonjal; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0112693513148280The need to describe and document the languages threatened with extinction has been gaining importance in the last decades, given the growing risks of cultural loss and the knowledge accumulated by indigenous people. The purpose of continuity of each one of these languages is ensured by actions based on the results of studies which focus on the description of the sociolinguistic problem, as well as on the description and analysis of the linguistic aspects which characterize the language of a determined linguistic family, since the death of a language means, among many other things, an undetermined loss of the science of Linguistics and, above all, the disrespect for the rights of these people to preserve their immaterial richness. The present research has as objective to answer some questions regarding the use of classifiers, terms of classes and names in classifying function as components of the classifying system of the language Akwe-Xerente (Jê), spoken by the indigenous people of the same name. The Akwe-Xerente add up to about 3,100 people and inhabit indigenous lands in the region of Tocantinia, in the Tocantins State. The description of the system of the Xerente classification is based on theoretical functional references for the recognition and differentiation of some nominal radicals which may occur in the function of classifying or organizing the classes which show common characteristics amongst the designated items such as form, size, aspect, consistence and function. This research is structured in the following way: In Chapter 1 are presented some proposals of elaboration of typology of sociolinguistics, to outline the contact situation in which the Xerente language is found nowadays; the chapter also gives a description of the methodology used to collect, select, and the process of systematization of the data. These procedures are constituted of a sequence of steps based on the methods of research for the Linguistic of field of synchronic base. In Chapter 2 an exposition is made of the theoretical views used in the description and analysis of the aspect of the nominal classifying system of the language. Chapter 3 shows the morphological criteria used in the definition and delimitation of the concepts of the words in the Xerente language, of the name, the compound name (compound word), and some characteristics of the name referring to the possibility of marking the possession/possessor in a certain group of Xerente names. In Chapter 4, the focus is in the description of aspects of nominal classifying in relation to the nominal stems which act as terms of classes and names in classifying function. This research is part of the LIBA Project Brazilian Indigenous Threatened Languages: Documentation (description and analysis and sociolinguistic typology) and means for offering subsidies in the linguistic range for the education program, as well as contributing in the scientific recognizance of related aspects to the classifying systems and linguistic category.Item A apreensão do instante relações entre a literatura e fotografia(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2009-05-04) SOUSA, Fábio D abadia de; FONSECA, Pedro Carlos Louzada; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6114671436176153In this study, through a qualitative survey based upon a bibliographical research, we analyze the inter-relations between literature and still photography, with the intention of discussing the main aspects of resemblance between these two types of arts, apparently very different from one another. Based upon Susan Sontag s (2004) statement that photography is closer to poetry than to any other art, we investigate the historical and aesthetic developments that allow such relation. Our investigation shows that it was after the realistic movement and mainly after the consequences of the radicalization in the use of the literary image by the European avant-gard oriented writers and by the Brazilian modernist poets that the relation between literature and still photography becomes clearer. We analyze particularly a part of the literary production of the Brazilian modernist writer Oswald de Andrade that, through his instant poems or flash-poems , presents in his literature some imagetic characteristics that allow us to compare them to photographic images. But if it is possible to show in literature some photographic elements, an inverse situation can also be detected. That is what an analysis of part of the production of the Brazilian photographer Thomas Farkas may demonstrate, specially in his photos made in the fourth decade of the twentieth century. In them, he reveals, through a subtle game of opposition and combination between light and shadow, that situation that Minor White (2003) call a mirror we can pass through . In Farkas work, the image of a photographer acquires some typical characteristics of a poet s image. And it is exactly when overcomes the mere visual aspects and opens a portal to the world of dreams and imagination that photography may present certain elements that could cause a proximity to poetry. Our research tries to demonstrate, thus, that the relations between literary and photographic images - both worried with the attempt of apprehension of life instants - allow to distinguish in still photography some characteristics that most of the reviewers once admitted that belonged only to the kingdom of literature and, on the other hand, that some writers can use the words in a way that produces results that resemble that of a photographer who presses the shutter of his camera.
