Item A trajetória do parlatino: um parlamento regional simbólico (1964-2017)(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2018-03-08) Monteiro, Mariah Freitas; Bittencourt, Libertad Borges; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0627231583730287; Bittencourt, Libertad Borges; Carvalho, Eugênio Rezende de; Pietrafesa, Pedro AraújoThis work took as object of research the Latin American and Caribbean Parliament, known as Parlatino, has been operating for over half a century. This institution was created in 1964 and leads on key political and legislative exchanges for the involved countries. It has been in operation during Latin America significant historical moments such as the period of military dictatorships and re-democratizations. Notwithstanding its importance and historical value, there is a scarcity of scholarly works on the Parlatino, especially in the field of historiography. The aim of this study was to address this gap in knowledge and to shed some light in this remarkable institution. The focus of this research was to present the itinerary of this political body, from its conception to a current period; the year 2017. In describing the trajectory of this institution, this work reflects on its inefficiency as a supranational entity of regional integration. Priority was given to the analysis and exploration of the socio-political and conceptual history of Latin America and the Caribbean. Data for this work was gathered from official documents of this institution, newspaper reports on episodes of its trajectory and bibliographies. The specific bibliography used included academic works from the areas of Political Science and International Relations, while the complementary bibliography was composed by works of the area of History of America and various statistical data about Latin America and Caribe. This dissertation was made from the cross-linking of these sources and from the bibliographical material collected. This dissertation is the critical and descriptive analysis of these obtained materials and the chronicle of Parlatino. The narrative illustrates the links between operation of this intuition and strategic historical moments of Latin America and the Caribbean. Additionally, it provides a testimony of the advances but also the crucial limitations of this institution.Item O som das telas: censura às trilhas sonoras musicais dos filmes produzidos durante a ditadura civil-militar (1964-1985)(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2022-02-02) Ribeiro, Eloah Varga; Campos, Yussef Daibert Salomão de; http:// lattes.cnpq.br/7307745252496902; Campos, Yussef Daibert Salomão de; Lanari, Raul Amaro de Oliveira; Jardim, Fernando Perlatto BomThe period of the civil-military dictatorship (1964-1985) was marked by harsh censorship of films and music, because they were seen as subversive or for attacking the “moral” imposed by the regime. Both categories have large studies that investigate these censors, however, the soundtracks of censored films are rarely mentioned in these studies. Therefore, the objective of this work was to map the films whose soundtracks suffered some kind of censorship during the aforementioned period, and in this mapping to search for reasons for censorship, and the censored music. The research process was carried out in documentary sources of the period, in order to locate documents whose censors' opinion indicated musical soundtracks and select from the bibliography on cinema and music notes on the censorship of films related to music. The first results showed that there is a gap when the subject is film soundtracks, and that the censorship carried out on films during the dictatorial period did not refer to music. Therefore, it was necessary to search for another source, the digital collection of the National Library. What is evident is that this area of approach to the dictatorial period is still very little researched, and there is a clear need for more incisive analyzes to try to answer the questions raised during the research. With the work carried out, it was possible to perceive the lack of bibliography and the permanence of questions that this theme addresses.
